Are most diets too complicated to follow? Here is the retort for everyone. The one color a day diet. The thought is easy you eat only one color per day. Does it work? Who knows. It is easy to follow? Yes. Will you loose weight? Results vary. You can eat only naturally occurring colors of food.
The rules of the diet are easy you eat only one color of food per day. The first day you eat only orange food. Carrots, squash, pumpkins, and oranges.
17 Day Diet
The second day, you eat only green foods. Kale, spinach, lettuce, grapes (green), green onions, broccoli, green apples, and avocados, pesto, all naturally green.
The third day you eat only white foods: eggs, bananas, radishes, apples, potatoes, rice, turkey and chicken,
The fourth day you eat only yellow foods: yellow squash, pineapple, eggs and crab,
The fifth day you eat only red foods: watermelon, red grapes, red apples, radishes, pomegranates, raspberries, strawberries, shrimp, ham and red meat.
The sixth day you can have brown foods: breads, pasta, and whole grains.
The seventh day you can have blue foods, blue cheese, and blueberries. Or you could have the seventh day be patriotic and do red, white and blue for variety.
I know this diet seems simplistic but literally don't most diets tell you to cut down on brown foods? Or the carbs?

If you can't do a whole week of the food color diet at least try and do the green, orange and yellow days. A good diet is a colorful diet.
